01Information we collect

Account information: your name and email address, collected through Supabase authentication when you sign in with an email and password or with Google.
Your projects, meaning the reference to your video, its transcript and the styles you picked, saved to your account so you can return to them later.
Usage figures: how many transcription minutes you have used and which plan you are on. We need these to enforce the limits of each plan.
Approximate location: each time you transcribe, our hosting provider reports the country, state and city the request was sent from. Only the most recent reading is kept on your account. We keep no history of readings, no coordinates and never your IP address itself. We use it to decide which regions to build for.
Anonymous analytics on which pages are visited, collected through Google Analytics. This is aggregated traffic data and is not tied to your account.
We do not sell any data.

02How your video and audio are handled

To create captions, we send your video's audio to our speech-to-text providers, ElevenLabs and Sarvam AI. They process it and send back a transcript with timings for each word. When you select romanisation or English translation, Sarvam AI also converts the transcript into romanised text or translates it into English.
We do not upload your video file to our servers. It stays in your browser's storage on the device where you added it, so you can reopen and export a saved project without selecting the file again.
For this reason, if you open a project on another device, you will be asked to attach the video again. Nothing has been lost; the file just never left the original device.
Rendering the captions and exporting the video both take place entirely within your browser.
Deleting a project, which you can do whenever you like, also removes the video stored in your browser.
Your content is not used to train models, and we never publish it or share it.

Razorpay, which processes payments. Your card details are never seen or stored by us.
Amazon Web Services, which delivers our account emails, plan reminders and newsletters.
Vercel, which hosts the website and serves the requests your browser sends to it.
Google Analytics, for anonymous statistics on page views.
Google AdSense, which shows ads on our public pages, as explained under "Advertising on this site" below. It never receives your videos, transcripts or account details.
This list is complete. We will update this page before we bring in any new processor.

Ads served by Google AdSense may appear on our public pages, for example the home page, caption templates, pricing and the FAQ. No ads appear in the editor, in your projects or on your account pages.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
To opt out of personalised advertising, visit Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of the cookies that some third-party vendors use for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland are asked for their consent before any personalised ads are shown, and can change that choice whenever they wish.

We use cookies to keep you signed in. The product cannot work without them.
Google Analytics places its own cookies to count visitors who come back. They are used only to measure traffic.
Where a page shows ads, Google and its partners place advertising cookies to display and measure those ads, cap how often you see the same ad and spot invalid traffic. You can delete or block these cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out links under "Advertising on this site".

You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
You may ask us to delete your account and all data linked to it.

You have these rights under India's DPDP Act and, if you are visiting from the EU, under the GDPR.
