Podcast clips

Subtitles for the podcast clips you put out every week.

Indian podcast clips give caption tools their toughest audio: two or three speakers, each switching between two languages, laughter over the top, and a guest listing five company names at speed.

Choosing the moments is your job; the subtitles are Captionwale's. Bring in a clip that is already cut, and each word comes back timed, in whatever language the conversation was really held in.

What you get

Why creators use Captionwale for this

  • Fast talk stays readable

Limit how many words show at once so rapid back-and-forth does not flood the frame, and break lines at the point where one voice hands over to another.

  • Fix a name once

Models slip most on guest names, company names and industry jargon. Fix the word once in the transcript; the subtitles and any downloaded file pick up the change.

  • Made for vertical clips

Set a 9:16 frame for Reels and Shorts with subtitles inside the safe area, and you can also export it square or in widescreen.

How it works

From upload to export

  1. Cut the clip

Choose the moment in the editor you normally use. On a paid plan a clip can run to 5 minutes.

  2. Bring it in

Pick the main language, or let detection handle it; Hindi-English mixing stays one stream.

  3. Clean up

Correct names, remove filler words, and choose a style that fits the show.

  4. Send it out

Burn subtitles into an MP4 for social media, or download an SRT for YouTube.

Questions

Asked before trying it

Will Captionwale pick the best bits of my podcast?

No. Captionwale only captions clips you have already chosen, so deciding what is worth posting stays with you. Cut the moment in your editor first, then upload it here.

What if the conversation uses two languages?

That works. When a conversation mixes Hindi with English, or Tamil with English, it is written as one stream and not split at every switch.

How many clips a month can I subtitle?

It depends on the transcription minutes in your plan: 90 minutes on Starter, 3 hours on Editor, 5 hours on Studio and 8 hours on Pro. Exporting a clip again never uses any more minutes.
