Educators
Captions for lessons, course videos and coaching reels.
In India, teaching on video usually happens in two languages together: the explanation in Hindi, Tamil or Marathi, and the technical terms in English. If a student misses a word through a tinny phone speaker, there is no way to raise a hand.
Captions let them catch it. They also help someone study on a train or in a hostel room without headphones, and read the formula you spoke instead of guessing.
What you get
Why creators use Captionwale for this
Two-language teaching, captioned as spoken
Say "Photosynthesis mein chlorophyll ka role" and you get one sentence back, with the English terms kept in English, written in Devanagari or in Latin letters to suit your students.
Subject terms stay right
Speech models stumble on technical words, formulas and names. Put them right in the transcript first; whatever you export, subtitles or files, carries your corrected version.
Short reels and full lessons
For reach, put styled captions on short teaching reels for Instagram and YouTube Shorts. For full-length lessons on YouTube, or on any course site that accepts subtitle files, download SRT or VTT.
How it works
From upload to export
STEP 01
Upload a lesson segment
One part of the lesson at a time, up to 5 minutes on a paid plan.
STEP 02
Set the teaching language
Choose the language you teach in, or let detection pick it. Mixed speech is kept together.
STEP 03
Check the terms
Read through and fix subject words. Mark important terms so they stand out on screen.
STEP 04
Share the lesson
An MP4 with captions for social media, or SRT/VTT for your course videos.
Questions
Asked before trying it
Can I caption a full one-hour class?
A paid plan accepts clips of up to 5 minutes each. For a long lecture, split the recording, caption each part on its own, and keep the files in sequence.
Does it write formulas and symbols correctly?
Speech becomes words, so if you say "a square plus b square", that is what appears, not a² + b². Add the symbols by hand wherever they belong; the exported file uses your edited version.
Which plan fits a coaching channel?
Add up the minutes of speech you publish. Starter is a sensible place to begin: it includes 90 minutes of transcription each month, and you can move up as you post more. Edits and repeat exports never use minutes.
Caption the clip you already have.
