Animated captions
Animated captions that move exactly when each word is said.
Movement only helps when it matches the voice. If a word pops a beat after it is spoken, viewers read it as a mistake. If the whole line glides in at once, you have a subtitle with a transition, not an animated caption.
So the timing has to be right first. Every word gets its own time from the speech model, and the animation is driven by those times. That is how a highlight lands on the syllable and not just near it.
What you get
Why creators use Captionwale for this
Many entrances to choose from
Typewriter, stamp, drop, swing, zoom, slide, rise, bounce, spring and pop, among others, applied to whole words or single letters. The styles already come with one-word-at-a-time beats, highlighter sweeps and karaoke fills.
Indian scripts animate cleanly
In Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali and other Indian scripts, vowel signs stay joined to their letters during the animation, so revealing a word one letter at a time keeps every syllable whole.
Make the key words pop
Mark the words that matter and the style gives them a different colour, size or movement, guiding the eye to the point of the sentence.
How it works
From upload to export
STEP 01
Upload your clip
MP4 or MOV. Transcribe it in its own script, in Latin letters, or as English.
STEP 02
Choose a moving style
Preview 103 styles on your actual clip, not on a sample video.
STEP 03
Adjust the motion
Pick a different entrance or highlight colour, set how many words show together, and choose which ones get emphasis.
STEP 04
Render it
Your browser turns the animation into an MP4, ready for Reels or Shorts.
Questions
Asked before trying it
Can animated captions be saved as an SRT?
No. SRT and VTT store only words and times, so any player shows them as flat subtitles. Animation survives only when the captions are burned into the picture, and that is what the MP4 export gives you.
Does the free plan include animated styles?
Yes. You get 32 styles for free, all of them animated word by word, each with an entrance of its own. The Dynamic templates, with fuller layouts and richer motion, can be exported on Studio and Pro.
Will the motion match my voice?
Every word's timing comes straight from the audio. When fast speech or background music throws one off, drag that word along the timeline and its animation follows.
